Well, Well, Obama is President Elect ~ But When Will the Hate Stop?

America has come a long ways since the days of segregation and the hate. With that being said the hate is still around and matter of fact it is thriving quite well. I surfed a few places after Obama was elected and the language from the family values crowd were atrocious. Racial slurs, hate and just down right disgusting comments were left all over the internet. Truly amazing these people are for family values isn’t it? With that being said. it still is an amazing time in America’s history but we got so far to go. Gays and lesbians are still second class citizens in the country they pay taxes in! The racist bigots are alive and well.

What is in our future? Who knows now that Obama has broken the glass ceiling. However we still have a ways to go. Equality is still not something all American citizens enjoy. The GLBT community is still treated as second class citizen even though they pay their taxes just like everybody else does. When will we know we have reached true equality? Hard to say. Maybe when Adam and Steve are the first family? When an Arab reaches the top spot? Or maybe someone of Asian decent? Baby steps folks. Just 50 years ago black were still treated horribly in the US. Just 40 years ago NYC cops were dragging gays out of the Stonewall Bar and roughing up the fags. American Arab are harassed and treated badly by some. When will things be better for us as a nation? When will the hate stop? I guess that question isn’t something we can give a clear answer to. I guess a lot of it has to do with the racist bigoted family values crowd. They are truly some of the most hateful people around these days.

Here is just a sample of the family values crowd thoughts. This is what I was talking about in paragraph one. This guy is a total douche bag, see the next pic! Is it just a coincidence he is from Texas? I think that could be a whole other topic~ Just look at this inbred, he seems so happy and pround spewing his hateful words. I guess bigots are just as proud as the next person?

Amazing isn’t it? Can you believe people like this are allowed out on the streets? Oh well I guess the first amendment protects everyone, even douche bags.
