Is organic food all hype?

There were some organic food lovers in chat that were hell bent on saving themselves, the planet and future generations by purchasing organic foods. I mean if you want to think this organic food thing is going to save the world and make you live a long healthy life and not cause cancer more power to you I guess. I personally think its a big fad and serves no real purpose other thank making some yuppie feel cool because they are buying organic, specailly since 48 million people living below the US poverty line can’t afford organic foods. They also think organic is going to catch on and organic foods will rule the grocery stores. I think not. I do know they are passionate about they’re organic foods! More power to them I guess.

I said what about Chinese and other 3rd world country made things which are probably just as or more toxic than non organic food. Some said they don’t buy Chinese made items. Well maybe they don’t but I really wonder about that statement, can’t really be proven. These countries could be sending anything over to us and have a long list of toxic items already shipped over to us. I am sure more are coming.

I mean really can’t anything cause cancer?

Oh and now I am troll because I don’t believe in the hype of organic foods so I will gladly wear the troll badge!!

P.S. The answer to the question of what if I can’t afford organic, was to grow your own. So you poor people living in cities grow your own food!!
