Toyota seen it’s US sales plummet 32.3% over September last year! The worst decline for the king of rice rides in decades! Only 3 models showed gains, oddly enough were all large SUVs — the Toyota Land Cruiser, Toyota Sequoia and Lexus LX models. The Camry and Corolla plummeted 27%!

GM also saw sales declines but were just over 15%. GM also has gained market share for the last two months with market share now at 27%. Fueled by hot selling GM models. This was however fueled by the Employee Discount For All Sale.

Unfortunately Ford were down 34.6% and Chrysler were down 33%. Volvo was down almost 52%

The Big 3 is struggling but GM shows signs of life by proof of regaining lost market share.

First of all they act like they US Government is just going to go give them 25 billion and not loan it to them. As much as I would like to see the Big 3 come back and kick some rice ride ass I almost think I would rather have them just up and say were done with manufacturing in the US. Ford, GM, Chrysler all three just up and shut down. The Big 3 still account for about 6-7% of the US economy and if they all shut down at once the effects would be crippling to the economy which after 8 years of job losses and outsourcing by Bush in on eggs shells anyways. 6-7% unemployment nation would make would give us a nearly 14% rate of unemployment and about 18% real unemployment. If you got hungry you could always put ketchup on your Kia, Lexus or Infiniti and eat away.

The Big 3 would not go under if they didn’t get the loans but they would probably mass lay off people. I mean under the Bush economy we have already lost 600,000 plus jobs do we want to add another 600,000? I think not. I been reading some blogs about the Big 3 loans and boy are some people really misinformed about the Big 3. I guess slamming the Big 3 makes your rice ride purchase seem justifiable to you. Sure the rice rides have built some transplant factories down in the 3rd world Jesusland but they aren’t building any more than the amount to “look” like their American. Almost all of the Asian marquees come from Asia and not the US. Don’t get me wrong the Big 3 import some too from Asia and Mexico and I wouldn’t recommend buying those either, so. Personally I am surprise the Big 3 make as many vehicle here as they do. They seem to be determined to battle the rice rides, lower cost of production(models made here in the transplant factories basically have the same labor costs, but they don’t have a lot of retirees and probably wont as they are only interested in making enough cars here to give a good impression) as Japan has government paid health care and the Asian countries have lower labor costs.

Do we want to lose yet another industry? I don’t know but I am thinking not. We might want to keep some manufacturing here as not even is cut out to be a professional. America wasn’t built with a Toyota Tundra ya know~ Anyways you rice ride lovers Japan and Korea thank you from the bottom of their hearts~

Well it’s over and McCain’s tenor seemed very unappealing. He would not even look at Obama. McCain seemed stuck in the past while Obama wanted to look to the future. This to me seemed to shore up the philosophy of just more of the same! However we get the fact he was a POW and his pro war stance shoved down our throats again!~ Argh!! This was a night for McCain to really shine, foreign policy was his strong point and I don’t think he did! I also find it funny McCain never once even mentioned the middle class? Maybe he had his 7 homes and 13 cars on his mind and how far away from the middle class he really is?

On the other hand Obama seemed like he was going easy on him. To me Obama should have been nailing his connections to Bush with his voting record. Other side is though Obama came off more appeasing and gave an impression of being able to reach out to the others side as McCain came off as condescending and authoritative. I think Obama should have ripped into him.

Over all I think it was Obama doing better but not by much! Obama held his own on his weakest subject foreign policy! Go Obama~

Is anyone else tired of this grand standing? He wasn’t even on any committees that are meeting behind closed doors. He was acting like the debates were in Australia not a two hour flight to Mississippi. McCain loves to grand stand and divert people away from his tanking numbers! I think it’s about a 10 point swing since McBush and Stalin were at the RNC. I bet the RNC is fit to be tied over these two dolts and specially about Sarah Failin’ Palin!~

The DOW lost almost 400 points today. Unemployment is at a almost a 4 year(October ‘04) high. Biggest monthly jump in unemployment since 1986. 5 straight months of job losses with another 49,000 jobs lost in May. Already gave big business tax cuts in 2001-3 which they took the savings and shipped nearly 6 million manufacturing jobs overseas and millions of IT jobs as well. Two stimulus checks one in ‘03 and one this year and the economy is still collapsing on itself. Bush can’t even save the economy with his sorry checks. Sorry i ruined your economy here are some sorry checks to bribe you!

Michigan Legislature recently passed into law the film incentive package! The package provides a 42% tax credits and other tax incentives to movie producers who come to Michigan to shoot their movies. The first film to get in on the tax break is the future film The Fifth Mafia. The incentive also allows easy and free access to the all of the states roads, parks and other stand owned buildings. The Fifth Mafia will be filming in the Grand Rapids ares and revenue just form hotel rooms alone is estimated at around $600,000. Restaurant and many other Grand Rapids businesses will reap the benefits! This tax incentive was the brain storming of Jennifer Granholm! Thank God Jennifer beat Dick Devos!

This will bring much needed revenue to other Michigan locations in the near future as well! I think we can expect a many more movies producers coming to Michigan to reap the benefit of this incentive. Michigan, we’re so Hollywood!

Recession and US workers working more for less

While McCain originally went against the Bush tax cuts to the super rich and to the corporations who gave away 5 million jobs he now supports them. McCain recently said while campaigning for the Michigan Primary(which he no doubtfully lost due to these kind of statements) said our jobs are gone and we should get it over it. No you get the F over it!! We already had a Republican president for the last 7-8 years with this kind of regard for the American worker that we don’t need another 8 years of it!!

Now some genius peeps up and says Clinton signed NAFTA like we didn’t know this. However NAFTA was 24 years ago and can easily be dealt with now. These free trade agreements are a knife in the American way of life’s back! Republicans are not the working person friend.

While G.W. Bush continues to give tax breaks to rich American corporations who out source our high paying manufacturing jobs there were always burger flipping jobs and cashier jobs to provide for a robust US economy and to keep us going. You know those minimum wage jobs that G.W. Bush likes to include when he is spouting the economic growth under his failed administration. Well guess what that sector of the economy isn’t do so hot either. Could it be the manufacturing sector who have lost million and millions of jobs can no longer afford to eat at Burger King? January 17,000 is in the hole for job creations the worst in 4 years. Thank you G.W. Bush the recession creator.

While in chat we got to talking about every thing under the sun being made in China. I do mean every thing. I said we really shouldn’t be the United State of America any more and should be New China. Then some one said Nu China or Chin. I then came up with United Nu Chin. I mean if every thing is going to be made in China our country might as well reflect this way of life and what better way than to call ourselves United Nu Chin. The Red White and Blue will be replaced with a red flag with 50 yellow stars. United Nu Jap could work too. Have a big red sun shooting out 50 red stars.

The US economy seems to be on the verge of collapse. The fed called an emergency meeting to slash interest rates for the 4th time since September. This rate cut was the biggest since 1984 and was .75%. Bush is calling for a 150 billion dollar stimuli package which would include 800 to single people and 1600 to couple but only if you pay taxes!! The working poor who don’t make enough would not get anything under the Bush plan. Go figure on that one. The Democrats are fighting to include them along with an increase in food stamp allowance witch Bush is also fighting as the present time. Bush would also like to give business’s a tax break for creating jobs. I wonder if he means a repeat of the first Bush tax cuts where business were given cuts to outsource US jobs????

Will the US economy completely collapse is yet to be seen but things continue to worsen. The DOW is tanking again and this is the worst start to a year in the DOW’s history!!! Down nearly 10% already!! Hang on tight folks as we ride the waves of a Bush economy~

What is happening to the rice rides? 2007 it was the Saturn Aura and now here it is 2008 and the Chevy Malibu wins the North American Car of the Year? F*ck your rice ride Honda Accord~ It is too bad the Buick Enclave didn’t take the truck category as well because it really would have deserved it. I think a new era is coming out of Detroit, a rebirth is happening. I continue to hear if only the big 3 would make ‘em we would buy ‘em. Meaning make something stylish, fuel efficient, and price comparable! Well that time has come, time to put up or shut up!

All the reviews coming out of the North American Auto about General Motors are hot hot hot! Seems the domestic autos has some hope. Now if we could only say the same for other sectors of the economy, such as textiles and electronics.
