Quaker Fabric located in Fall River Massachusetts have decided to close up shop due to increase competition by sweat shop labor in South East Asia. Quaker Fabric was established in 1945 and was once the city’s biggest employer, at one time employing nearly 2,000 workers.
Come on people look for, ask for and buy Made in USA! Demand that Washington levels the playing fields for US workers! Save our jobs! Vote Democratic!
Another sad day for the American Worker. heh maybe there is some fast food restaurants hiring!
